Create Bootable USB Flash Drive for Windows 7 or Vista Netbook Install
By
This quick video is to demonstrate how one would take the Windows 7 DVD image (ISO) and copy the setup files so that one can install Windows 7 via a USB flash drive. I used this process to install Win 7 on my new Acer Aspire One Netbook. All hardware was detected flawlessly BTW. Very quick. Very pleased.

Where do you get the “Windows 7 DVD image (ISO)”. Or can you create that by creating it in NERO or some DVD to make and ISO of the Win7 DVD

Go into the Command Prompt (make sure you run it as admin). Type in the following without the parenthesis:
Disk Part
List Disk
Select Disk 1 (It should be your USB drive)
Clean

Regardless if it’s 32bit (86x) or 64 bit, it will work the same.
