does anyone know if the slim (2000) battery fits on the old (1000) psp ? please reply back ASAP.

@sanddragon99 plus the psp1000 is built better, has 1800mah instead of 1200mah(psp2000,3000) has no infrared, cheap buttons(side buttons).

Great review! Very concise. Very thorough.
My only gripe, though minor, is that you didn’t show the battery life of the 1200 mAh battery in both PSP’s. Of course, anyone who owns a newer PSP is familiar with the battery life, but it would have been especially nice for newcomers to the PSP arena.
Additionally, it would have been interesting to see how long the 1200 mAh battery would last in the 1st Gen PSP.

the old psp has a RAM of 32 mb, the Psp 2000, 3000, and the PSP GO all have 64 mb of RAM memory.
Sorry Psp go cannot use disc drive or Duo pro or the go cam… Although it has a built in 16 gigs of memory its memory slot would prevent me from using a 32 gig duo pro memory card.
Also Psp go internal battery is sealed and cannot be easily changed.

the only major difference is that the psp slim can hook up to the tv

i have one i like it but i hate the charger change. and the battery can’t be removed unless you take the psp go apart. i do like how there are no umd just internal mem but that means i can’t use my umd’s =( and the new mem card is the m2 you cant use pro dou =(

if your gonna own a psp 2k hold on it tight cause i dropped mine and the back of it broke off (the place where it holds ur games)

the 1000 does have an hdtv adaptor its on the right of the psp’s headphones adaptor slot…….

The old one ( the black one ) is the 1000. The new one ( the slimmer one ) that’s the 2000.
